Refund policy

At Al Darwish Perfumes, we want you to shop with confidence. If there is a problem with your order or you wish to return an eligible item, our team is here to help.

This policy applies to purchases made through aldarwishperfumes.com for delivery within Egypt. It does not limit your rights under applicable Egyptian consumer protection law.

1. Returns and Exchanges

You may request a return or exchange within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, subject to the applicable legal exceptions.

For change-of-mind returns, products should remain unused and in their original condition, with their original packaging, labels, accessories, and any manufacturer’s seals intact.

Please provide your order number, receipt, or other proof of purchase so we can identify your order.

2. Opened or Used Perfumes

A change-of-mind return may be declined where opening, spraying, using, or altering a perfume means it can no longer be returned in its original condition and an applicable legal exception permits refusal.

Opening the outer delivery carton alone does not automatically make an item ineligible for return.

These conditions do not remove your rights if a product is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or does not match its description. Opening a product to discover a defect does not, by itself, invalidate a claim.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us promptly if an item is broken, leaking, defective, missing, or different from what you ordered.

For defective or non-conforming products, you may request a replacement or refund within 30 calendar days of receipt, without affecting any longer rights or guarantees that apply.

To help us resolve the issue, please provide:

Your order number or proof of purchase.
A description of the problem.
Photos of the product and packaging, where available.

Please retain the item and its packaging for assessment and collection where reasonably possible. Photos help us investigate but are not the only way to establish a valid claim.

4. How to Request a Return

Tell us which item you wish to return and whether you prefer a refund or exchange. If there is a fault or delivery issue, please describe it.

Our team will provide the appropriate return address and collection or shipping instructions. Please contact us before sending a parcel so we can direct it correctly.

Pack the product securely to prevent leakage or breakage during transport. Our administrative process does not extend or restrict your statutory rights.

5. Return Shipping Costs

For eligible online returns made because you changed your mind, you are responsible for shipping and return transport costs, unless we agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover them.

If the return is due to a defective product, damage on arrival, or an error on our part, we will cover the necessary collection, return, and replacement delivery costs.

Any applicable shipping costs will be explained before return arrangements are confirmed.

6. Refunds

For eligible change-of-mind returns of online purchases, we will refund the amount due within seven calendar days of the product being returned.

For valid defective or non-conforming product claims, we will provide the requested refund or replacement without additional cost within one week of you contacting us, as required by applicable law.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you agree to another method. For cash-on-delivery orders, any alternative to a cash refund will be agreed with you.

We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund to which you are legally entitled. Refunds reflect the amount actually paid for the returned item, including any discount applied.

If a refund has not appeared after we confirm it has been issued, please contact us so we can help trace it.

7. Exchanges and Sale Items

Exchanges depend on stock availability. If your preferred replacement is unavailable, you may choose an eligible alternative or receive a refund where entitled.

Any price difference for a voluntarily selected alternative will be confirmed before the exchange.

Purchasing an item during a sale or promotion does not remove your statutory return or refund rights.
